Whats In A Wonderball

Partly cloudy with ...

From Goreme to Istanbul, via Ankara. A road
amazing that keeps changing its size to become a 100-lane highway to mountain road.
Sometimes you get lost and do not understand where you are, maybe because we do not expect this from Turkey.
People are always the main character, however, always ready to welcome you, offer you a cup of tea to give you an indication. The town of Goreme
night arrival is a kind of hallucination unexpected.
dug into the tufa and covered with lights is what one would expect in a desolate mountain wilderness of central Anatolia, a paradise for any traveler.
The next day at 5 am on tour with the molgonfiera was one of the most exciting experience ever, something unique with the "balloon" that verged on the rocks a few inches of the canyons that reach out and touch them, and then up hundreds of feet with a view of dozens and dozens of other balloons.
Finally in the evening we met by chance in motion by turning it into a fortress in 1200 which is located on the Silk Road, which we also route a few kilometers (unbelievable), in which he held a religious ceremony of the Whirling Dervishes, but not for tourists in restaurants, etc. but a real one.
fact we could not take pictures, filming and no more, we have seen in a religious silence and listened to something 800 years old.
Finally the day we met a local family who keeps the keys of a Byzantine church in 1100 that is not open to the public because damaged by tourists and took us in for a visit.
We later discovered that the most anitca cappadocia of all, we were just sitting in their small dug in the rock walls, impagababile.
The tourists here are a few running contrary to what we thought, in fact we met some of which direct a Canadian and a Belgian in Mongolia directed south africa.
